The sixties and seventies were a difficult period financially for the congregation but finally the mortgage was retired in October 1983.
In 1975, St. Paul's Church celebrated its 25th Anniversary, with Roy Hamilton, the first Sunday School Superintendent, in attendance.
On October 24, 1999, St. Paul’s completed another dream. A new lift was dedicated, making the building accessible to all who wish to meet and worship within this Church.
Through the years, many individuals and groups were actively involved in the life and witness of this congregation. During the financial crisis in the 60's and early 70's when it looked like the congregation might have to close it's doors, these dedicated people cooked innumerable turkeys, served countless cups of tea, sold chocolate bars, Christmas Trees, recipe books, rosebushes, name and address tags, held a dance with Don Messer, and more to keep this Church alive. The Church today is the sign and symbol of their dedication and love for this congregation. Some who deserve special mention are The Guild, the Margaret Hamilton Group, the Calvin Group, and the Couples Club. (Click on picture to enlarge)
