Advent Sundays :

Advent begins today. One advent candle will be lit each week followed by the Christ candle on Christmas Eve.


Christmas Tree Angels:

Again, due to Covid 19, there will not be angels on the Christmas tree. Gate 316 has requested donations by cheque, cash, or gift cards to restaurants and department stores. It is suggested that you place your donation in a sealed envelope along with your name and address as tax receipts may be sent.

Write Gate 316 Christmas donation on the envelope and put it on the collection plate or deliver to Janice Towns for delivery.

If you wish to send gift cards, Fundscrip does provide cards in various denominations while providing a percentage that raises funds for St. Paulís. See Nelly if you require any assistance.


Christ Mitt Tree:

If you wish to knit mitts, toques, scarves or purchase sock, underwear, leotards or baby items etc, please put them in a bag placed in the narthex. The items will be divided between Salvation Army Christmas gift boxes and Settlement House. Donations must be received by Dec. 13th for both the Angel Tree and Christ Mitt Tree.


Bible Study:

Rev. Reid would like to begin a virtual bible study using Zoom on Dec. 10th. If you are interested, please speak to Rev. Reid so an invitation and link can be sent to you via e-mail. 


Communion Sunday:

Communion Sunday will take place on Dec. 7th. Safety protocol for distribution of elements will be followed.


Weekly Services:    

Weekly services are recorded and posted on our website and on Facebook (which can be accessed from our website). Please encourage those unable to attend to watch the service and read the words of encouragement found on Facebook.


Christmas Eve:

We invite you and your family to a Christmas Eve service to be held Dec. 24th at 7 pm. (as long as public health guidelines permit

Dec. 20th:

We hope to have a service of special music, a modified version of our annual Family Christmas service to be held at 10:30 am.



We are in need of volunteers who would like to assist in operating the sound system. Please speak to Errol.

Auhorized Remittance (PAR):

St. Paulís participates in a program called PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance). To take advantage of this direct debit program to support St. Paul's, please speak to Brian Shields or Jean Bolton.


St. Paulís Food Collection:

Please remember the ongoing need for donations to the Food Bank at Settlement House.

Sunday morning service and Church School at 10:30 a.m. Nursery care is available for infants to 3 years of age.
