
Seniors’ Ministry Co-ordinator
The Session is seeking a volunteer to act as the Seniors’ Ministry Co-ordinator. The Co-ordinator, working with the Seniors and Nancy Harsell, will plan the programs for the monthly Seniors’ Lunches. Other aspects of this position are: 1) co-ordinate a group of volunteers to phone/visit, on a regular basis, with shut-ins and those in nursing homes; and 2) plan and implement, in consultation with Session, programs of interest to Seniors.
Calvin Group
The next meeting of the Calvin Group is September 8th starting with a Potluck Dinner at 6:30 pm and the meeting to follow at 7:30 pm.
A Stitch In Time
We have started a new fellowship group which meets every Wednesday morning from 9:30 am until noon for coffee, crafts, and fellowship. We are working on joint projects or you can bring your own. If you are interested, please speak to Vivian Wagner. There will be no Stitch in Time during August and will resume on September 8th.
Choir
Choir practice will resume on September 9th at 7:30 pm.
Corn Roast
September 12th is our “Welcome Back” service and corn roast. Everyone is invited to attend as we reconnect after a summer of rest and relaxation.
Board of Managers
The next meeting of the Board is September 14th at 7:30 pm.
Session
The next meeting of the Session is September 15th at 7:30 pm.
Presbytery of Pickering
St. Paul’s is hosting the Presbytery of Pickering meeting on September 21st at 7:00 pm. At this meeting, Lois will be inducted as the Presbytery Moderator for the coming year.
Book Club
The Book Club will meet again on September 28th at 7:30 pm. The next book is “The Friday Night Knitting Club” by Kate Jacobs.
60th Anniversary
We are celebrating our 60th Anniversary on October 31st. Our Guest speaker will be The Rev. Barney Grace. Barney was a part of this congregation prior to entering the ministry.
Student Care Packages
“Thinking of You” care packages are being put together for St. Paul’s young people who are attending college or university to let them know that we are thinking of them. A list of suggested items can be found on the box at the back of the church.

Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)
St. Paul’s participates in a program called PAR (Pre-Authorized Remittance). To take advantage of this direct debit program to support St. Paul's, please speak to Brian Shields or Jean Bolton.
St. Paul’s Food Collection
Please remember the ongoing need for donations to the Food Bank at Settlement House.
Weekly Worship Service
Sunday morning service and Church School at 10:30 a.m.
Nursery care is available for infants to 3 years of age.
Choir
Choir practice is every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm from September to June. A time to share your talents, enjoy friendships and raise your voice praising God.
